We are entering a new world of internal communication

January 20, 2017

The more connected a company is the more productive it becomes. To bring communications between employees to a new level, we have launched Facebook Workplace – a brand new and easy-to-use channel for collaboration, free sharing of knowledge and information, which makes company more open and transparent.

In the era of social networks, it is hard to underestimate the role of Facebook in businesses’ development. Many organizations today have Facebook pages; many people are using own private accounts for work purposes and networking with colleagues as this platform has advantages over internal systems.

Facebook Workplace is a live and collaborative environment designed for businesses and organizations. It was officially launched by Facebook in October, 2016. Since then it gets increasing popularity and has been adopted by a number of companies around the world. Sigma Software is among the first companies in Ukraine to choose Facebook Workplace as a single communication channel inside the organization.

This platform looks and feels like Facebook, which is well-established in our lives. More than one billion people use this communication network every day to get in touch with their families and friends. This is why using Facebook Workplace is so easy, as it has the very similar options. However, it gives even more possibilities, including news feeds, open and closed groups for discussions, events calendar, colleagues’ profiles, chats, video and audio calls, possibility to run polls, and more. At the same time, the platform is not linked to personal accounts of users in Facebook.

“Our company is constantly mastering new technologies to bring additional value to our Customers. Besides, we keep on adopting best practices and newest approaches to make our work more efficient. Facebook Workplace is called to reinforce team spirit and knowledge sharing throughout the company that should ensure us providing our Clients with services of the highest quality,” says Valery Krasovsky, CEO at Sigma Software.
