Sigma Software Recognized as a Finalist at the Women in Tech Global Awards 2025

This year’s competition features an extraordinary 1,760 contestants representing 128 countries across 27 categories, showcasing the global influence and reach of the Women in Tech Global Awards.

Our company has been selected as a finalist in the category Best Workplace for Women in Tech for continued efforts for increasing diversity of our workforce and systematic actions to create beneficial conditions for specialists of any age, gender, and beliefs. We are especially attentive to the gender balance since historically women are less prone to choose a career in IT, especially as engineers. At Sigma Software we have 35% of women as opposed to the average of 25% in the industry, while in the management, we have about 50% women. In tech and engineering positions in our company, women score 19%.

Sigma Software ensures gender equality regarding conditions and opportunities – including compensation, working hours, work-life balance, insurance, holidays and weekends, parental leave, mechanisms for protection against bullying and harassment, etc.

To celebrate women’s leadership and expertise in tech, we joined the Femmegineering project, which aims to highlight females in the tech industry by sharing their experiences with girls considering a career in tech. Sigma Software Group scaled the project to emerging tech markets across Europe, including Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, and Portugal, and further promotes gender equality ideas via the Femmegineering podcast on Spotify and Apple.

The winners will be announced at the Women in Tech Global Awards Ceremony 2025 on December 4. In addition to honoring tech leaders, the celebration gives nominees, finalists, and guests access to inspiring keynotes by industry leaders, discussions, and opportunities to network virtually with people from all corners of the world.

“On behalf of WomenTech Network, I would like to congratulate Sigma Software and all of our 2025 finalists and nominees for their commitment to innovation, leadership, and creating meaningful impact across the tech industry and their communities. Your contributions exemplify the values of excellence, opportunity, and forward-thinking leadership that drive progress globally. We are honored to have you as part of our inspiring global network,” says Anna Radulovski, CEO & Founder, WomenTech Network.

“At Sigma Software Group, we don’t just talk about empowering women in tech; we build systems, opportunities, and communities that allow them to rise. Being recognized as a finalist is not just an honor; it is a reflection of our culture, our values, and our commitment to creating a workplace where women can thrive, lead, and shape the future of technology,” says Hanna Abdel Hamid, Regional Director at Sigma Software US and Head of Sigma Software Canada, named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women in 2024 by WXN and Strong Women in IT 2023 & 2025, host of Femmegineering: podcast.

Sigma Software became the winner of Best Workplace for Women in Tech Award 2023 and received Partnership for Sustainability Award 2023 by UN Global Compact Ukraine for our efforts in building equality and gender balance through the Femmegeneering project.
