Mr. Abromavichus had a trip to Sweden in early October and invited Swedish companies to meet him. The goal of this event was to highlight the investment attractiveness of Ukrainian market and the new opportunities that have opened for foreign investments with a specific focus on Information Technology sector.
The meeting was organized by Business Sweden — the organization, which role is to help Swedish companies to reach their full international potential.
Per Kündig, Key Account Manager at Sigma IT Consulting, shared his impressions from the meeting:
“During his speech, Mr. Abromavichus talked a lot about reforms, changes, and challenges Ukraine is going through right now. He also underlined a big potential of Ukraine. Sigma is actually the number one Swedish IT company working on Ukrainian market. When I presented the company and told about our wide-scale activities aimed at strengthening cooperation between our two countries, the Minister seemed quite impressed. I believe we still have a lot to do together, thus such meetings definitely are very important, as they ensure the State bodies’ readiness to support us in our joint work.”
“Sweden has been Ukraine`s trustful partner for a long time, so it is extremely important to maintain and develop cooperation between Sweden and Ukraine on the state level. Such events are of great significance for business community of both countries to show the Government will for further cooperation strengthening,” says Valery Krasovsky, CEO at Sigma Software.
