Sigma Software Becomes a Member of the IT Ukraine Association

Our company has gladly joined the IT Ukraine Association – one of the leading professional IT communities uniting major market players with the mission to provide favorable conditions for the sustainable development of the IT sphere in the country. For over 10 years, Sigma Software has actively contributed to the development of the Ukrainian IT ecosystem, being a member of various pan-Ukrainian and international associations. From now on this work will be intensified even more.

The IT Ukraine Association was founded in 2004, and since then has declared its main activities to be the protection of the interests of the IT industry, providing assistance in the development of technical education, and the promotion of the industry in Ukraine and abroad.

Valery Krasovsky, CEO at Sigma Software

“As a responsible company, Sigma Software aims to create a strong and stable environment for IT development in Ukraine through the establishment of a dialogue with the government, improving education, promoting the country as a huge IT hub, etc.

These things can`t be done by a single company of course. So within various communities and associations we cooperate with the biggest IT companies, uniting our efforts to reach one big common goal,” says Valery Krasovsky, CEO and Co-Founder of Sigma Software.

“For years, our company has been an active member of the IT committees of the European Business Association and the American Chamber of Commerce. Being a part of these professional platforms, we are keenly working to help the IT industry grow.”

“IT Ukraine has existed for over 15 years, and we have certainly cooperated before and actually took part in a number of projects together. Therefore, joining IT Ukraine was a logical step for us. Working with three major Ukrainian IT associations, we will be able to achieve more on our way to building a balanced IT ecosystem in Ukraine. Currently all three professional platforms unite more than 100 IT companies of all sizes which together have more than 50% of the Ukrainian market.”

Constantine Vasuk, Executive Director of the IT Ukraine Association, notes:

“The Association has always sought to combine the efforts and expertise of leading Ukrainian IT companies for the sustainable development of the IT ecosystem.

We have long cooperated with Sigma Software within individual projects, but we are looking forward to our partnership in the new status.

We are confident that the combination of common experience will strengthen our projects, deepen cooperation between the members of the Association, and help to achieve the goals for the development of the IT industry in Ukraine.”
