Sigma Software Group Announces Sale of Their Part at IdeaSoft After Strategic Collaboration and Shared Milestones

Sigma Software Group has completed the sale of IdeaSoft, a fast-growing IT consulting company that became part of Sigma Software Group in 2021. This marks the next step in a story of collaboration that delivered strong results, mutual growth, and strategic milestones. The buyer is a $240B+ UAE holding company with very ambitious goals in expanding to the Web3 industry.

The sale is a well-considered business decision, aligned with Sigma Software’s growing presence in the Middle East and its ongoing mission to support global technology transformation through meaningful partnerships.

Shared Successes and Breakthrough Projects During 4 Years of Collaboration

“Over the past few years, we have gone a long way together with IdeaSoft, growing the company into a trusted delivery partner in FinTech, Blockchain, and beyond,” says Valery Krasovsky, CEO and Co-founder of Sigma Software Group.

“We’ve co-created successful new projects, like Global Ledger, a Crypto AML startup. In close cooperation and mutual support, we’ve passed through the turmoil of the first months of full-scale invasion. The Sigma Software Unity Fund, established by the co-founders of IdeaSoft and Sigma Software, has become an integral part of our extensive ecosystem and supports the Ukrainian army and civilians. Joining efforts with IdeaSoft and Datrics Co-Founders and other partners, in December 2021, we launched the SID Venture Partners fund that has invested $5.5 million since then and was recognized as the most active venture fund in Ukraine during the war. These and other projects demonstrated how smart collaboration and shared values lead to real results.”

“Our partnership with Sigma Software was mutually fruitful, helping both companies to scale the business and launching several successful new ventures together,” said Andrey Lazorenko, CEO and Co-founder of IdeaSoft. “It is important in a business to be aligned on the mutual values and mission. We have had a great partnership that has enabled us to grow significantly, and it is essential to know when it’s time to move on. Now, IdeaSoft is joining the largest group in a region that will be the most innovative for the upcoming decade. We are grateful to Sigma Software for the time together and will continue growing the company to new heights internationally, being a part of the new ecosystem.”

IdeaSoft will become a part of ADI Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping governments connect with trusted partners to advance digital transformation and blockchain adoption worldwide. Rooted in Abu Dhabi, the Foundation leverages its $120 million fund and a global network of partners to deliver blockchain solutions that enhance trust, transparency, and efficiency in key sectors such as healthcare, financial systems, sustainability, and governance.

IdeaSoft’s Perspectives as Part of ADI Foundation

The acquisition of IdeaSoft by ADI Foundation marks a new phase of strategic integration and global expansion of its technology portfolio. As part of the transaction, IdeaSoft will retain its operational independence and continue working under its own brand, becoming a dedicated Web3 innovation hub with a strong focus on R&D and the delivery of advanced Web3 solutions.

“IdeaSoft will serve as a dedicated center for blockchain innovation, acting as a technical vendor for a wide range of governmental, municipal, and enterprise-level projects,” explains Herman Stohniiev, CTO and Co-founder of IdeaSoft. “Our mission is to support the meaningful adoption of blockchain technologies across multiple sectors — from finance and government to telecom and infrastructure. We will continue to operate independently and serve international markets, including Europe, the United States, and Latin America, without limiting our focus to any specific region.”

Also, IdeaSoft Co-founder and CEO Andrey Lazorenko became the CEO of the whole ADI Foundation.

“In ADI Foundation, I’m leading the development of open, enterprise-grade blockchain infrastructure designed to deliver the trusted digital systems nations need to unlock their future. Our mission – empower 1 billion people by 2030. In this role, I will help position the Foundation as a key driver in the UAE’s broader initiative to lead in digital infrastructure and blockchain innovation. ADI contributes to the UAE’s technology strategy by building scalable, compliance-aligned systems that support real-world deployment across finance, health, and government services. My expertise spans blockchain and fintech technologies, with a proven ability to lead high-performing teams in solving complex challenges across both the public and private sectors,” explains Andrey Lazorenko.

Continued Partnership and Global Growth

Following the acquisition, Sigma Software Group and IdeaSoft will maintain partnership relations and continue joint initiatives to bring long-term benefits to their clients, partners, and the global tech ecosystem.

Valery Krasovsky adds:
“Sigma Software Group and IdeaSoft will continue to collaborate, leveraging our shared expertise and successful history to build new projects together. The transition marks not only a successful strategic move for both companies but also underscores the value of growth-focused collaboration and ecosystem thinking.”

This continued partnership aligns naturally with Sigma Software’s broader global growth strategy. In 2024, the company acquired Sigma Software Vertex, a U.S.-based technology firm, and is currently in discussions regarding additional acquisitions across the EU and North America.

A key part of the company’s growth model is its entrepreneurship program, which brings together visionary founders and tech innovators from around the world. This initiative provides entrepreneurs with the support, infrastructure, and access to scale new businesses under the Sigma Software Group umbrella — strengthening the Group’s ecosystem through startup energy and strategic collaboration.
