Sigma Software Joins Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce
We are pleased to announce us becoming a member of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce (SACC) in Seattle. This non-profit organization is committed to strengthening trade relations and enhancing cultural exchange as well as creating business opportunities for Swedish and American companies.
SACC-USA was founded in 1906 in New York and is actually one of the oldest organizations of its kind outside Sweden. Over a hundred and twelve years it has developed into a thriving network of companies and individuals. Being the SACC member brings Sigma Software a valuable opportunity to get new acquaintances and find new partners.
Every year the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce hosts a variety of events, networking opportunities, and educational functions for companies in different segments. Recently, Daria Vasylieva, Head of Seattle Office at Sigma Software Inc. (the USA), attended The Nordic Innovation Conference, which has been held in the recently opened Nordic Museum in Seattle and organized with the help of SACC. The main goal of the conference was to increase awareness about innovations and opportunities as well as to lay the groundwork for the development of deeper relationships between the tech and innovation sectors in Seattle and the Nordic region.
The conference welcomed speakers from noticeable companies like Ericsson, Microsoft, Powerlight Technologies, as well as representatives from Seattle Department of Transportation, Nordic Council of Ministers, US Ambassadors from Sweden, Norway, and Finland. Speakers have presented updates on ambitious plans and remarkable achievements in development of 5G networks, electric airplanes and ferries, as well as provided other information on spectacular innovations.
“We believe this connection to the local Swedish business community will bring us a number of exciting opportunities. The Nordic Innovation Conference was a fantastic experience and I`m looking forward for new SACC events and exciting business networking opportunities,” Daria Vasylieva says.
“As a Swedish company, Sigma Software always strives to develop local business communities and contribute to business and cultural exchange facilitation between Sweden and the countries, where Sigma Software presented. We are a member of the Swedish Business Association and a long-term partner of the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine. In 2014, Sigma Software also joined the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce. So, entering SACC was a natural step for us. We are sure this membership will help us stay in touch with the Swedish-American business community,” adds Alexey Stoletny, Managing Director at Sigma Software Inc.
