Sigma Software Launches an Engineering Office and IT education in Uzbekistan
Sigma Software opens a new engineering office in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, adding a new country to its 20+ country presence map. Originating from Ukraine, the company has been operating in the global IT market for 22 years and has SAS, Knorr-Bremse, AstraZeneca, IATA, Volvo Penta, Scania, Siemens Healthineers, and other world-known brands among its customers.
Sigma Software Group starts operations in Uzbekistan with the launch of the engineering office in Tashkent and partnership with local universities. The company`s debut in Uzbekistan was marked with a conference Tech Synergies: Collaboration for a Digital Tomorrow organized by Sigma Software in partnership with Sigma Software University, INHA University, StrategEast, and IT Park Uzbekistan.
The event took place on February 19 and explored how collaboration between international IT companies, local stakeholders, and donors can foster innovation and digital transformation in the country.
Sigma Software was born in Ukraine in 2002 and grew together with the IT ecosystem, adding IT education, startup support, and venture investments as the company`s ecosystem members. The company entered new markets with different IT industry development stages and gained diverse and valuable experience.
