Sigma Software supports and organizes a series of events in Lviv, Kharkiv, Kyiv, and Odesa
The autumn 2015 is a very action-packed time for Sigma Software. We organized several User Groups, NETwork conference, the Programmer`s Day party for Lviv specialists, as well as supported conferences in Lviv and Odesa. In October and November the company is going to participate at Lviv IT Arena, Java Day Kyiv, and BuildStuff conferences as the events` partner.
“September was a busy month for us. First of all, Sigma Software organized a party at the Programmers` Day for Lviv IT specialists. We have invited a young and very promising Ukrainian band, Brunettes shoot Blondes, to give a concert as a gift for all Lviv programmers and their friends. About 300 people visited the party. Aside from nice music and friendly atmosphere, the participants also took part in prizes drawing from the company,” says Vladimir Chirva, Development Director at Sigma Software.
On September 10th Sigma Software hosted the Java User Group in Kharkiv, gathering over 50 developers. Two topical speeches were presented by the company`s Senior software developers, resulting in quite a lively debate with the audience. Another User Group, dedicated to .NET technology stack, was held in Lviv last week. Co-organized by Sigma Software, the meeting welcomed David McCarter, a Microsoft MVP and developer, architect, consultant, professional code reviewer and interviewer from San Diego. The second speech was presented by Dima Maleev, developer, Lviv Code School director.
“We see a great interest from the community to these meetings. We will definitely continue to host, organize and support such events. The next User Group is planned to be held in Kharkiv, so stay tuned to updates at our Facebook page,” says Nataly Potapova, Training Manager at Sigma Software.
Within a month, the company has supported several conferences, including JS and JDay conferences that were held in Lviv, as well as BlackSea Summit, which took place in Odesa. Right now we are actively preparing to take part in Lviv IT Arena — one of the biggest IT events of Ukraine. On November meet us at BuildStuff and JavaDay conferences in Kyiv.
“Our company has a very proactive position as for IT community development in Ukraine. This year is special for us. First of all, we are excited to bring new life to our conference NETwork. After a two-years break we organized NETwork again, this time for Lviv developers. Secondly, we are actively cooperating with a number of events aimed at IT professionals, startups, students, businesses, etc. Ukraine has a blustering IT life; I believe this is great. We are looking forward for even more interesting events,” concludes Valery Krasovsky, CEO at Sigma Software.
