Sigma Software Wins HR Brand Ukraine Award

Sigma Software is committed to removing barriers based on bias, not only within the company but in the industry in general. So, we decided to highlight this direction of our strategy in our application for HR Brand Ukraine, annual award for the most successful projects in the field of human capital management, reputation, and image of companies as employers.

Our company was recognized as one of the best employers in Diversity and Inclusion Category, HR Brand Ukraine. The winners were selected among 46 leading Ukrainian and international companies that applied 63 projects. Since Sigma Software’s strategy has always been focused on people, their needs, professional growth, and realizing their potential, regardless of gender, we consider this award a significant acknowledgement of our efforts.

Sigma Software Wins HR Brand Award 2024

Sigma Software has been promoting gender equality since its inception and has singled it out as a separate project since 2022. To overcome the barriers that cause inequality between men and women in the field of technology, Sigma Software works to create synergy between business associations, educational institutions, and society as a whole.

In reaching the gender balance, the company sees its main tasks as:

  • Overcome the historical imbalance
  • Overcome prejudices and stereotypes
  • Increase the talent pool
  • Remove hostility and non-inclusive culture
  • Ensure work-life balance
  • Eliminate unequal opportunities

Besides the continuous improvement of the company’s policies & practices, our activities to achieve gender balance include several external and internal projects:

Sigma Software’s flagship project aimed at fighting stereotypes and attracting more women to technical professions. Femmegineering focuses on making female role models more visible and creating a supportive, inclusive environment where women can access the resources needed to build successful careers in technology. The project aims to attract girls to the technical field, give them confidence, and help them choose the profession that is more to their liking. Within the framework of this project, in 2024 Star for Life Ukraine in partnership with Sigma Software organized numerous webinars, courses, and career guidance lectures for girls.

“How She Does It” Series of WebinarsInternal Quiz “Women Leadership”
For Sigma Software team, we created a unique quiz featuring most known women leaders from Ukraine and other countries of the world to inspire and charge our specialists with positivity.The webinars aimed at highlighting the balancing between work and life. Our colleagues who successfully combine work, personal life, hobbies, volunteering work, and other activities shared their stories in the format of a discussion club.
