Sigma Ukraine supported another two meetings of Odesa .NET community
11th and 12th .NET User Groups took place in Odesa in February. Each of them gathered more than 100 community members, and Sigma Ukraine sponsored the events.
11th Odessa .NET community took place on 16th of February. Dmitri Aizenberg and Andrey Tobak presented speeches covering different areas within software development and management. The presentation from Andrey presentation named “People decide everything” explained how essential teamwork was for a project success, Dmitri’s report "Selenium WebDriver in practice" dealt with the usage of Selenium tool in automated testing. These matters were well received by the audience and triggered a lively debate.
"Not only do these community meetings keep people up-to-date with the technology, but they also help us share experience with each other," emphasized Anton Vidishchev, Sigma Ukraine Programming Team Leader. "It is so exciting to see people grow and become true experts over time."
12th .NET User Group took place on 27th of February. Sergey Baydachnyy, software development specialist at Microsoft Ukraine, presented new Microsoft technologies for developers, and announced the 2012 "Imagine Cup" contest. Sergey also dwelt on features of the new operating system Windows 8 in his speech.
"Our Odesa office is going through a phase of active growth, which is why we are especially glad to support .NET User Group meetings", said Valery Krasovsky, Sigma Ukraine COO. "Being one of the most active Ukrainian IT-communities, it helps to develop Odesa IT industry."
