Strengthening Government Relations to Drive Digitalization Agenda

Governments become first-string players on the IT field. Besides their usual regulating functions, they turn into clients and partners. Sigma Software Group has extensive experience in cooperation with state bodies in both of their guises. First, through building a fruitful environment for the development of the tech ecosystem via participation in EBA IT Committee, involvement in the initiatives of Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation. Second, through delivering various IT service projects, such as automating business processes for Diia.Business entrepreneur support center, a governmental project aimed at the development of the business ecosystem in Ukraine.

Olga shares:

By adding the position of GR Director to our Management Team, we strive to structure and deepen our relationship with the governments of Ukraine and countries, where Sigma Software operates. It’s a global initiative, covering European countries, North and South Americas, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. An experienced community builder to fill this position – Olga Ksonzenko – is well-known in Ukrainian IT, since she did much for communicating the needs of the tech ecosystem to the government in her previous job as an EBA IT Committee Manager.

“In my new role, I’m going to focus on several important tasks. First of all, I will be building relationships with governments in priority countries to drive more business opportunities and investments to Ukrainian companies. Besides that, I will try to establish investment platforms with the involvement of associations and organizations and attract grants for innovative and publicly significant projects. On a large scale, my function will lie in launching bridges between Ukraine and the countries, with which we can start mutually beneficial partnerships, and participating in government digitization programs.

I’m looking forward to opening new horizons as a GR Director at Sigma Software Group. Representing a large international IT company, I will be in a great position to establish business ties with a range of countries at the state level.”
