Best IT Employer

Our company took first place in the Best IT Employer rating organized by the largest Ukrainian IT community DOU. The rating is based on the voting results of IT professionals.

And it’s just one of the employer awards that we received in 2024. We also scored 5 in Forbes Ukraine’s Best Employer Raiting, won Best Workplace for Women in Tech Award, and were recognized as one of the best employers in the Diversity and Inclusion Category, HR Brand Ukraine.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion

With 42 offices in 20 countries, Sigma Software strongly emphasizes diversity and a multicultural approach as key drivers of successful development.​ One of our projects in this area is Femmegineering aimed at fighting stereotypes and attracting more women to technical professions. By sharing inspiring stories, holding events, and arranging educational courses to equip women with in-demand IT skills, we influence women’s role in the company and the IT industry. In 2024, the share of women in Sigma Software reached 35% compared to 24% in the IT industry in Ukraine and 25% globally.

Big Birthday Fundraiser

Via our company’s charity Sigma Software Unity fund, we implemented support projects for $700 thousand in 2024 and over $4,8 mln since February 2022. All fund’s projects unite people and cover burning needs like strengthening city security, restoring infrastructure, assisting civilians, and supporting the army. But one project this year had special importance for us.

On May 10, 2024, Sigma Software celebrated its 22nd anniversary. In place of birthday gifts for our colleagues, we chose to donate funds in support of the Ukrainian Army and the citizens of Ukraine.​

We also launched a major fundraising campaign for a project to develop a system to protect Ukrainian cities.​

The results were truly inspiring. The total amount transferred to the project, including donations from our colleagues and donations from our friends raised on social media by our ambassadors, doubled by Sigma Software and the Sigma Software Unity Fund, reached 1,702,099 UAH, or approximately $41,800!​

General Partner of London Tech Week 2024

Sigma Software Group became the general partner of London Tech Week 2024, showcasing the opportunities within the Ukrainian IT industry at Ukraine’s stand to over 45,000 attendees from 146 countries.​

The Ukrainian delegation was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, along with our partners Ukrainian Startup Fund and Techosystem, supported by Seeds of Bravery and UK-Ukraine TechBridge.​

Best Ever Customer Satisfaction Level

In 2024, the results of the Customer Satisfaction Survey revealed that Sigma Software not only maintained its reputation as a premier IT service provider but also set a new benchmark in customer satisfaction. The company achieved a historic NPS of 70 and outstanding satisfaction scores, demonstrating that our commitment to quality is highly valued by our clients.​ The overall satisfaction rate is 98%, marking the highest score ever achieved.​

Startup World Cup feat UNICORN Startup Contest

Our corporate venture Sigma Software Labs together with EIT Community RIS Hub in Ukraine, with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation organized the Ukrainian stage of the Startup World Cup 2024. Lab’s own UNICORN contest became a part of the competition and helped prepare startups to compete in the high league.

The competition attracted more than 120 local startups, making it the largest national selection event in Ukraine’s history. The winner of the Ukraine stage Spendbase.co represented Ukraine at the Grand Final of the Startup World Cup in San Francisco.

Web Summit and CodeUA

This year at Web Summit, we took a chance to share our vision and expertise with a broader audience. Our CEO and co-founder, Valery Krasovsky joined the panel discussion on “East to West: The Shifting Face of Innovation.”

Sigma Software also partnered with the exclusive side event “Ukrainian Code: Spreading Across the World” hosted by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Lviv IT Cluster, and the USAID Competitive Economy Programme in Ukraine (CEP). At the event, CodeUA, an exciting new platform for enhancing international cooperation within the global tech community, was presented.

Launch of Defence Builder Accelerator

In March 2024, Sigma Software Labs together with Genesis, KSE, and Buntar Aerospase supported the launch of Defence Builder Accelerator. This program is aimed at helping Ukrainian defence startups grow and build investment-attractive ventures and make a real impact on the battlefield.

IT Arena App Developed by Sigma Software

Sigma Software developed a mobile application for the IT Arena conference, the largest technology event in Ukraine and Eastern Europe that brings together entrepreneurs, startup founders, product managers, and anyone interested in technology. IT Arena app was intended to make the experience of participating in the event even more rich and efficient, allowing participants to keep all the opportunities of the agenda in their pockets.

For over 10 years Sigma Software has been a constant partner of IT Arena. In 2021, we even hosted the event in our office – IT Arena was held in the hybrid format and a few studios for online broadcasting were built in Sigma Software’s Lviv office. The year 2024 brought a fresh perspective to our partnership.

Old But Gold – Interactive Tech Museum in our Lviv Office

A year ago, at IT Arena, we set up an interactive retro tech museum. Everyone, from Taras Kytsmey to Jerry Heil, came to check out a clumsy Polaroid, snap a pic with the first Mac, and play Duke Nukem 3D. All 3,000 visitors showed up, and the total reach hit over 10,000 in just two days!

It was only a matter of time before we gathered even more cool, rare gadgets and turned 60+ exhibits into a permanent Old But Gold museum in our Lviv office. Our colleagues, partners, guests, and clients can see and touch these amazing devices. The museum has already won its first award for creative company promotion!

Sigma Software Stars Recognized as Top Women in Ukrainian VC and Startup Ecosystem

The list of inspiring female entrepreneurs in the Ukrainian startup and venture capital landscape presented by Vestbee includes several incredible women related to Sigma Software. Daria Yaniieva, Investment Director at Sigma Software Labs, Galyna Isakiv, Head of Portfolio & Operations at a VC fund initiated by Sigma Software SID Venture Partners, Kateryna Bezsudna, Co-founder at Defence Builder and Buntar Aerospace, and founders and top managers of startups from Sigma Software Labs portfolio – Anastasiia Smyk INPUT SOFT, Margaryta Sivakova Legal Nodes, Veronica Korzh GeekPay.

Sigma Software Ecosystem

For many years, Sigma Software has been building synergies between service companies, tech startups, industry associations, and educational institutions to boost innovation and growth of the IT industry. We have contributed to IT education via our education platform Sigma Software University, supported startups with our corporate venture builder Sigma Software Labs, and filled in various gaps in IT industries of the countries where our company operated. In 2024, we have structured the components of Sigma Software ecosystem in this image.

What’s Next?

The glimpses of our year above do not include all of our achievements – there are too many of them in various aspects of our activity and in numerous countries of our presence.
