The story of a cooperation of Sigma Software and SHERPR, a UK-based startup, began when our customer came to us for project development estimate. After receiving investment, they re-approached Sigma Software for the creation of an e-com tool.

We have created a market place where customers can ship golf clubs, bikes, ski, and snowboards from their home, to the final destination, cheaper than airlines, without all of the added stress. SHERPR takes care of the process.
The service works in a few easy steps: users place an order on the SHERPR website by selecting equipment type and quantity, specifying the pickup and destination address’, convenient dates to send and receive the package. The web based product also provides tracking status’ of your shipments.
Unlike any other company that provides a similar service, SHERPR gives more opportunities, dealing with a variety of sport equipment, from bikes and golf clubs to snowboards and skis. Users also can order insurance policies for the cover of their expensive equipment. The solution can contribute to travel industry development making vacation time even more exciting for its users.

We started with a detailed analysis of requirements and accurate estimates, and then invited the client to visit Kyiv for a workshop. We spent three days discussing all the nuances of the future solution, its functionality and user experience, brainstorming and creating mockups. Following the Customer`s requirements and the fact that the expected time to market was quite short, we advised the client to use the Magento 2 platform. This platform allows ready-made modules, saving time and budget since you don`t have to write it from scratch.”
