Project description:

Our customer is a globally known vehicle brand listed among top 10 biggest carmakers in the world. The company is famous for its considerable investments in research and development worldwide. The project encompasses developing an E-commerce platform to manage company`s numerous warehouses in an efficient way. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Abstract the complexity of a system into a manageable model that describes the essence of a system by exposing important details and significant constraints
  • Maintain control over the architecture lifecycle in parallel to the project’s software development lifecycle 
  • Make sure the system stays on course with the long-term vision
  • Progressively make critical decisions that define a specific direction for a system in terms of implementation, operations, and maintenance
  • Create and distribute tailored views of software architectures to appropriate stakeholders at appropriate intervals
  • Inspire, mentor, and encourage colleagues to apply intelligently customized industry’s best practices
  • Enable continuous growth of the project teams’ technical competence; acts as a technical coach
  • Determine necessary amount and level of detail for the technical product documentation; ensure that the decisions made both meet the project goals and are compliant with the set forth process requirements and quality management system regulations (if applicable)
  • Actively participate in company-wide technical excellence and training programs related to your primary area of expertise
  • Participate as a technical solution owner in proposal preparation efforts and perform knowledge transfer to the team lead / responsible software architect when the project starts

Qualifications you must have to join us:

  • At least 6 years of experience in the field of software development, requirement handling at electrical and/or software projects (C#)
  • Experience of successful work without supervision
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle, experience in Agile
  • Solid knowledge and proper usage of Object Oriented Programming and Design  
  • Experience in designing complex systems, the design is to address client’s business goals and software needs
  • Ability to translate business goals into software architecture requirements
  • Excellent UML knowledge and practice
  • Experience with Windows Services, XSD/XML, CSS/HTML 
  • Logistics domain competence from 
  • Strong knowledge and experience in JavaScript, React.JS, other JS-based libs
  • Experience in setting up CI/CD flow
  • Efficient software testing methods, including automated unit and integration testing
  • M.Sc. in Electrical and/or Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Upper-Intermediate English (speaking and writing)

As a plus: 

  • Basic Swedish
  • Knowledge and experience with SAFe Methodology, certification
  • Experience with Sitecore Experience Platform, especially version #9, or other E-commerce platforms
