TAP CAM PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy policy governs your use of mobile iOS application TapCam (“Application”) for mobile devices. It is created by Sigma Software LLC. This privacy policy was last updated on May 27, 2020.

The Application does not collect or transmit any personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, address, phone number, email address, etc.
The Application does not use or collect any data related to your geographic location.
The Application itself does not collect, store, or maintain user’s personal data. In case it passes through our server we may only receive and give back the unique code of the virtual room, videos, and audios that you stream.
As no personal information is collected, stored, or maintained by the Application, we do not share personal information with anyone. Keep in mind that if you decide to become visible to another user of the Application by using camera or share your contact details or any information about you to a receiving party while using this Application, you might become identifiable by a receiving party. Consequently, the receiving party might obtain your personal data, but not Sigma Software LLC.
As the Application does not collect, store, or maintain user data, we do not share your data with advertising companies. For the same reasons, we do not share your data with vendors or analytics providers.
We take appropriate steps to protect the unique code of the virtual room that is created, audios and videos you share during live streaming. All transmitted videos and audios are encrypted during transmission. We use standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption that encodes information for such transmissions. Keep in mind that no transmission of data over the Internet or any wireless network can be 100% secure. Although we take all necessary measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee the security of personal data transferred, including cases when you decide to share your personal data with a receiving party while using this Application, and we do not take any responsibility for an unauthorized use or access to your data while you are using this Application.
Although our mobile Application does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information about you, Sigma Software LLC respects and complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
We may amend our privacy policy at any time by posting a revised version on the App Store. The revised version will be effective at the time we post it.
